Our plan for University Avenue
Forward is committed to the creation and implementation of a cyclist/pedestrian traffic efficiency framework to safeguard both pedestrian and cyclist safety. We propose a low-profile cycle lane along university avenue as a solution to foot traffic and cyclist traffic issues within Kambri.

On August 1st 2017, The Australian Human Rights Commission released a landmark report highlighting the disturbingly large scale of sexual assault faced by Students. The 2017 survey revealed that one in ten female students reported being sexually assaulted in 2016, with more than half saying that they've been sexually harassed. In December 2018, the ANU completed the Nous Group’s review into sexual assault and sexual harassment (SASH) at the ANU's residency colleges. This review published twelve recommendations as to how the ANU must do better to protect us students. And today, We are gathering again in solidarity to call upon ANU to do better. ANU students deserve a safe place for their studies and accommodation, Students deserve the right to feel safe. ANU must do better, We deserve better than this.
ANU must remain accountable commit to a future where all students (male/female/non-binary) are safe from sexual harassment and assault.
Until ANU Commits to this, we will continue to spend every cold August 1st fighting for justice.
To Survivors, We stand beside you in solidarity, we hear you and we believe you, we will fight alongside you now and always.

Forward endorses student-led "Kill the Bill" campaign against University cuts
Forward's position on proposed changes to university funding by the Federal Government is a position of strong opposition. Under these new changes, it would result in a 113% fee increase for the arts and humanities. It will lead to a 28% increase to fees for law and commerce students.
The Federal Government has made it clear that they intend to leave students behind with more debt and less support. We express our full support for the student-led "kill the bill" campaign which empowers students to express how these changes will negatively affect their academic careers and future prospects.
In times of global uncertainty and financial distress, now is not the time to swing the axe on our futures. We will be fighting towards a far go for all students.
Forward will be supporting this movement 100%, We stand with all students in solidarity.
